Myrtle Beach

What fun we had!! I didn't expect to really enjoy it because there wasn't a boardwalk in front of the hotel. That's my favorite. The hotel and the boardwalk. The pool was way too fun for us to be at the beach. The kids just wanted to play at the pool. It had a slide like a water park. What a quandary.....the kids wanted to play at the pool...I wanted to sit on the beach. We compromised and got a little bit of both. It was a great hotel. One night they had a movie poolside and another night was smores night. You can never have too much chocolate.

And now I'm sitting in my psychosocial class being forced to watch the movie Up. And if you read my post after I took my kids to see that movie you would know how much I HATED that movie. Sad. And I have a great fear of heights. In almost every scene someone is about to fall from a great height! It kills me. Why are we watching this movie you ask.....to study the psychosocial concepts that exist in it......coping, grief, social support, you get the picture. Someone please save me. I really need one of my kids to call me and report that they have a mild injury that will require me to leave class. Terrible, isn't it?
